Asking for help is a sign of strength and courage, but sharing the vulnerability of your challenges and burdens can be difficult. I offer a safe place for you to be seen, heard, and release pain that has outlived its purpose. Warmth, honesty, trust, and compassion are the essence of my client partnerships. I engage in meaningful relationships with people who seek greater self-awareness, clarity of decision-making, increased resiliency, new skills, and freedom from what’s not working.
The counseling approach I employ is holistic and utilizes a variety of therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Psychodynamic and Culturally Sensitive. My life experiences and work as a teacher and administrator inform my practice. Listening to your hopes and dreams, helping you heal from your past, and supporting your positive changes is my passion.
You are the only you that is, has been, or ever will be. Your very being is worthy of understanding, acceptance, and respect. I would be honored to be your companion on your therapeutic journey. Let’s meet and explore possibilities. You can share your concerns, thoughts, and feelings. We’ll focus on what is most important to you. I will encourage you on your path toward wellness.
